Moodboard for our modern farmhouse kitchen dream – shades of grey, stone & white
The status quo
Not long ago we put an offer in for our first ever house – a blank 1950s house which needs a bit of love – and whilst the paperwork for the exchange is driving us nuts, the only thing that distracts me enough to keep me sane is the planning of how we (meaning I) are going to decorate everything. My mind is exploding with ideas and I can’t wait to finally get the keys to our new place, to start painting and decorating. Project number one will be the kitchen. View Post
After weeks and weeks (it was actually months and felt like years) we finally found the house where we want to drop our anchor. It is a 1950s house in need of a bit of love, but in the beautiful village of Corsham. A historic village in the south of the Cotswolds, surrounded by beautiful nature and close enough for a day trip to Bath or Bristol.

This pasta dish took only 15 minutes, including preparation! You don’t believe me? Well, try for yourself…
I love cooking, but the mess afterwards and the cleaning up…? Naaah, not so much! So using only one pot to cook a whole dish, sounds like a dream to me. Today, I’ve tried a one-pot meal for the first time and what can I say: super easy & quick to make, very tasty and the best of all- only ONE pot to clean!!! Also the perfect dish for our camping trip next week… View Post
Anyone in mood for a delicious pumpkin bread? I personally could eat pumpkin bread all year round…
This dairy free, gluten free and paleo compliant pumpkin bread recipe is super easy to follow and also a great snack to take away with you when traveling (we all know how difficult it can be with specific dietary requirements to find food when out and about).
This Autoimmune Paleo compliant pumpkin pie spice is a life-saver for your sweet cravings. Mix it together with some coconut milk (plus maybe a dash of maple syrup) and you’ve got yourself a delicious AIP compliant pumpkin spice latte (minus the coffee of course). I also like to add it to my pancake mix or to my green plantain porridge in the morning. Sooo delicious!
